Excuses for avoiding sex are many, but some of them have been done to death, making them the silliest reasons ever. 

Many have faked headaches or gone to sleep early just to avoid sex. Although your partner might have well realized that you are in no mood for sex, instead of being upfront, many tend to fake it. Here are some of the most silly and over-used sex excuses.

Too tired for sex: "Honey, I have had a bad day at work and am really exhausted," is one of the most common statement couples use to avoid love making.

I've got a headache: It's the most used statement to keep the partner at bay and that makes it the silliest one too. Obviously, your partner knows you are faking it.

I've got to get up in the morning: The sleep one gets post a love making act is pure bliss. And if you are saying that you do not wish to have sex just because you will not be able to get up in the morning. Baby, sex will freshen you up. So avoid this excuse. 

I'm preoccupied with work: Alright, men if you are using this to avoid sex for one night, then get ready for a week of sex-free life as your lady will be upset with you for prioritizing work over her desires.

I'm angry with you: If you are going to make this excuse, you better have the excuse for the anger ready as well.
